Queenie's cowgirl doll experienced a loss of her lower limb at the knee today. She immediately brought her to me, set up a hospital bed (car seat carrier), made a genius bandage out of notebook paper, and hung a sign outside of her "hospital room" saying "Herting pashunt. Bring love". She asked me what I thought and I told her I thought love was the best medicine to which she replied "Well yes mom, anyone can get better with love". I wish I could make copies of her sign and hang it outside all the patients' rooms this week at clinical...such a big heart, my Queenie...
